  • Maintain normal fluid intake day before

  • Remove any socks

  • Remove all heavy objects (jewelry, watches, belts, jackets, etc.)

  • Warm yourself up for 20 mins in cold weather

  • Use bathroom

DON’T:

  • Eat or exercise for at least 3 hours

  • Consume alcohol or excess caffeine for at least 24 hours

  • Use a shower or sauna

  • Use lotion/ointment on hands/feet
