Maintain normal fluid intake day before
Remove any socks
Remove all heavy objects (jewelry, watches, belts, jackets, etc.)
Warm yourself up for 20 mins in cold weather
Use bathroom

Eat or exercise for at least 3 hours
Consume alcohol or excess caffeine for at least 24 hours
Use a shower or sauna
Use lotion/ointment on hands/feet
